Ingredients not genetically engineered. Triple Health Guard: DHA for brain; 2 prebiotics for immune health; 30 nutrients for growth. Closer to breast milk (than previous formulation). Experts agree on the many benefits of breastmilk. If you choose to use infant formula, ask your baby's doctor about Enfamil Premium Infant. Enfamil Premium Infant is an innovative non-GMO (see non-GMO footnote on front of package) formula that has nutrients also found in breast milk and supports your baby's brain development and immune health. And it now has 29 mg of the nutrient Inositol per 6 fl oz, bringing this formula closer to breast milk than ever before. Proprietary Triple Health Guard Nutrient Blend: Exclusive Natural Defense Dual Prebiotic blend; Omega-3 DHA; Complete nutrition, 30 nutrients, shown to foster healthy growth. Immune Health: Prebiotics and vitamins C & E support immune health; prebiotics are nutrients that promote the growth of beneficial bacteria that occur naturally in the digestive tract, where 70% of the immune system is located. Brain Development: 20 mg omega-3 DHA per 6 fl oz serving, the same as the worldwide average found in breast milk (average level of DHA in worldwide breast milk is 0.32 +/- 0.22% [mean +/- standard deviation of total fatty acids] based on an analysis of 65 studies of 2474 women); Omega-3 DHA supports brain and eye development. In an independent study, Enfamil that has DHA at 0.32% of total fatty acids was shown to foster learning ability from infancy through age 5. Facts to feel good about: non-GMO (see non-GMO footnote on front of package); 20 mg omega-3 DHA per 6 fluid ounces; no artificial flavors, sweeteners or colors. Instructions for Preparation & Use: Your baby's health depends on carefully following the instructions below. Proper hygiene, preparation, dilution, use and storage are important when preparing infant formula. Powdered infant formulas are not sterile and should not be fed to premature infants who might have immune problems unless directed and supervised by your baby's doctor. Ask your baby's doctor which formula is appropriate for your baby. Ask your baby's doctor about the need to use cooled, boiled water for mixing and the need to boil clean utensils, bottles and nipples in water before use. 1. Wash hands thoroughly with soap & water before preparing formula. 2. Pour desired amount of water into the bottle. Add powder. 3. Cap bottle and shake well. Use the chart below for correct amounts of water and powder. Use scoop in tub to measure powder. Store dry scoop in lid holder. To Make (each scoop adds about 0.2 fl oz to the amount of prepared formula): 2 fl oz make; 2 fl oz water; 1 unpacked level scoop (8.8 g) powder. To Make (each scoop adds about 0.2 fl oz to the amount of prepared formula): 4 fl oz bottle; 4 fl oz water; 2 unpacked level scoops (17.6 g) powder. To Make (each scoop adds about 0.2 fl oz to the amount of prepared formula): 8 fl oz bottle; 8 fl oz water; 4 unpacked level scoops (35.2 g) powder. Either feed immediately or cover and store in refrigerator at 35-40 degrees F (2-4 degrees C) for no longer than 24 hours. Do not use prepared formula if it is unrefrigerated for more than a total of 2 hours. Do not freeze prepared formula. After feeding begins, use formula within one hour or discard. Storage/handling: Store powder at room temperature; avoid extreme temperatures. After opening, keep lid tightly closed, store in a dry area, and use contents within 1 month.
