You'll Need

Food processor or stick blender


  1. Place potatoes in stockpot; cover with cold water. Bring to boil on HIGH; reduce heat to MED. Simmer potatoes 20-25 min, until tender when pierced with knife tip. Drain and return to pot. Heat on LOW 3-5 min to remove excess moisture.
  2. Puree potatoes, milk, butter, and brown sugar until smooth using food processor or with stick blender. Season with salt and pepper.
Substitute yams for white sweet potatoes.
