  1. Heat olive oil in braising pan on MED-HIGH. Stir in onions; cook 2 min until soft not browned. Add garlic; cook 2 min.
  2. Add jalapeno, bay leaves, and thyme; cook, stirring occasionally, 2 min. Add baby bella mushrooms, salt, and shiitake mushrooms; increase heat to HIGH. Cook, stirring occasionally, about 10 min until liquid is evaporated.
  3. Discard bay leaves. Add chives; toss to combine.
