Mushroom Rice with Truffle Oil


You'll Need

Braising Pan


  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Add oil to braising pan on HIGH. Add onion; cook, stirring, 3-4 min, until onion softens. Season with salt and pepper. Add mushrooms; cook, stirring, 2 min.
  2. Add rice, stock, and dashi sauce; stir. Bring to simmer; cover. Transfer pan to oven; cook 30 min.
  3. Remove from oven; let rest 10 min. Drizzle with truffle oil; garnish with chives.
Chef Tips
Rinsing the rice 3 times removes any residues from processing. Any retained moisture shortens cooking time.
