  1. Add potatoes to stockpot; cover with cold water. Bring to boil on HIGH; reduce heat to MED. Cover and simmer potatoes about 15 min, until tender when pierced with knife tip. Drain; return to stockpot. Heat on LOW 3-5 min, tossing gently, to remove excess moisture.
  2. Combine potatoes, 1 cup milk, butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon in stockpot. Mash with hand-held potato masher. Add additional milk if needed; season with salt and pepper.
