Braising Pan


  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Add olive oil, onion, and cumin seeds to pan on MED-HIGH. Season with salt. Cook, stirring 4-5 min, until onions begin to toast and cumin becomes fragrant.  
  2. Add rice and water. Bring to a boil on HIGH; cover. 
  3. Transfer pan to preheated oven. Bake 12-15 min.
  4. Remove from oven; let stand 4 min covered. Toss lightly with fork before serving.
