Carrot Sticks Kimchi-Style



  1. Combine garlic, ginger, red pepper, fish sauce, water, soy sauce, and rice vinegar in large bowl; set aside. 
  2. Add carrot sticks to large pot of boiling, salted water. Blanch 1 min; drain. Add to bowl with sauce mixture; toss to combine. Transfer to 9x13-inch dish. Arrange in single layer; chill 1 hour.
  3. Add green onions and red onions to bowl of cold water; soak 1 min. Drain; add more cold water. Soak 1 min; drain. Add green onions, red onions, and sesame seeds to carrot stick mixture; toss to combine. Transfer to serving platter; garnish with sesame seeds.
