Broccoli, Cauliflower & Pine Nuts



  1. Blanch broccoli and cauliflower 2-3 min in large pot of boiling, salted water. Drain; transfer to bowl of ice water. Drain and set aside.
  2. Toss pine nuts on MED-HIGH in dry skillet about 3 min to toast. (Watch carefully to prevent burning.)
  3. Heat oil in pan on MED; cook shallots 2-3 min until soft but not browned. Add broccoli and cauliflower; season with salt and pepper. Toss, about 1 min, until heated through. Add pine nuts.
