Grilled Sweet Onion-Apple Relish


You'll Need

Heavy duty aluminum foil


  1. Preheat grill on MED-HIGH. Brush onion with basting oil; wrap loosely in foil, creasing edges to seal tightly.
  2. Place on grill, close lid, and grill 15 min. Turn; grill 15 min longer.
  3. Remove from heat. Carefully open foil to avoid steam; cool. Dice onion and combine with applesauce in medium-size bowl. Season with salt and pepper.
Chef Tips
Shape a ring of aluminum foil the approximate size of the onion and about 1/2 inch high. Place foil-wrapped onion on ring while grilling to prevent burning.
