Food processor


  1. Heat pan on MED; add bacon. Cook, stirring, about 12 min, until browned. Add onions, garlic, and shallots; cook, stirring occasionally, 10-12 min, until caramelized. Add bourbon; cook, 2-3 min, until liquid evaporates.
  2. Add thyme, brown sugar, and maple syrup to pan; cook, stirring, 2-3 min, until sugar dissolves. Remove from heat; cool 15 min.
  3. Add mixture to food processor; puree to desired texture.
