12-inch cast-iron skillet

Directions

  1. Preheat 12-inch cast-iron skillet on MED 5 min. Add oil; heat on HIGH. Add mushrooms; press down in skillet using spatula. Cook 5 min; turn over. Press down again; cook 5 min, pressing with the back of a spoon to break into smaller shreds. Season with salt and pepper.
     
  2. Turn off heat; allow skillet to cool slightly 1-2 min. Add sauce; stir to combine. Set aside.
     
  3. Divide cole slaw evenly on each toasted bread slice; top evenly with mushrooms.
