Thai Shrimp and Squid

Directions

  1. Make marinade: Combine chili garlic sauce, sweet chili sauce, fish sauce, soy sauce, and sugar in small bowl. Set aside 1/2 cup marinade.
     
  2. Place shrimp and squid in separate large bowls; toss each with half of remaining marinade. Cover; chill at least 30 min.
     
  3. Preheat grill on HIGH 10 min. Coat cleaned grill grate lightly with vegetable oil.
     
  4. Grill shrimp about 6 min or until internal temp reaches 130 degrees and shrimp are well-browned (check by inserting thermometer halfway into thickest part of shrimp); transfer to serving platter.
     
  5. Grill squid in small batches about 1 min, until lightly grill-marked. Transfer to clean cutting board; slice in thirds. Add to platter with shrimp; drizzle both with reserved 1/2 cup marinade to taste. Season with salt and pepper.
