Southwest Pita Salad



  1. Heat oil in large skillet. Add beef, breaking up with spatula; cook 2 min. Add peppers and onions; cook 1 min. Add chili powder, cumin, and 1/4 cup water; cook about 4 min, until beef is thoroughly cooked. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat salsa in small saucepan. Set aside and keep warm. Toast split pita breads.
  3. Layer toasted pita breads with bean dip, romaine, beef mixture, avocado, tomato, salsa, and shredded cheese.
