Slow-Cooked Ginger Beer Ribs


You'll Need

6-8 qt slow cooker


Preheat grill on HIGH 10 min.
  1. Clean grill with wire brush; using soft cloth, coat lightly with vegetable oil.
  2. Season ribs generously with lemon pepper. Sear on grill 3-4 min on each side.
  3. Remove ribs from grill and place in slow cooker. Whisk together ginger beer and ketchup in large bowl; pour over ribs.
  4. Cover and cook on HIGH 3-4 hours or on LOW 6-7 hours, until tender.
  5. Skim fat from surface and discard. Remove ribs and set aside. Carefully pour sauce into medium saucepan. Bring sauce to boiling on HIGH heat and cook until reduced by one-quarter, 4-5 min. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Serve ribs with sauce.
