Herb Rubbed Beef Tenderloin Roast



  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Combine herbs and garlic in small bowl; set aside.
  2. Rub tenderloin with olive oil; season with salt and pepper. Coat with garlic-herb mixture.
  3. Place tenderloin in roasting pan on center rack of oven; sear 15 min.
  4. Reduce heat to 350 degrees, cook about 15 min /lb until desired doneness. Check internal temp by inserting thermometer halfway into thickest part of meat. Remove pan from oven when desired temp is reached. (Refer to temp chart for final cooking temps.)
  5. Let rest 15 min before carving.
