Grilled Korean Beef BBQ




Make This First


  1. Add water, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, black pepper, and white wine to pan; stir until well-combined. Bring to simmer on MED-HIGH; cook 2 min. Add brown sugar slowly, stirring continuously. Remove from heat. Let cool 1 hour. 
  2. Stir in pear, sesame oil, and green onions until well-combined. Add beef to large bowl; cover with 2 cups marinade. Seal with plastic wrap and refrigerate 30 min.   
  3. Heat grill to HIGH; brush cleaned grill grate lightly with oil. Grill beef 2 min and turn; cook until desired doneness (refer to temperature charts for final internal temp). Transfer to clean platter.  
  4. Divide lettuce leaves among 6 serving plates; top with beef and Asian Cucumbers.
Chef Tips
  • Try substituting beef with Wegmans Brined Pork End.
  • For more spice, add 1/3 cup of hot pepper paste to the marinade.
  • Refrigerate remaining marinade for later use.
