Dashi Beef & Mushrooms



  1. Combine sugar and soy sauce in small bowl. Add beef; work in liquid with hands until absorbed. Set aside.
  2. Heat 1 Tbsp oil in stir-fry pan on HIGH until oil faintly smokes. Add half the beef; turn over when meat has browned on one side, about 3 min. Cook until browned; transfer to clean dish. Repeat process with remaining beef. Remove beef from stir-fry pan; set aside.
  3. Add remaining oil to stir-fry pan on HIGH. Add onions, peppers, and mushrooms; cook, stirring, 3-4 min, until mushrooms are soft. Return beef to stir-fry pan; add dashi sauce. Cook, about 1 min, until heated through.
