Asian Barbecue Shrimp

Ingredients

6-inch bamboo skewers

Directions

  1. Preheat grill on HIGH 10 min. Place two shrimp on each skewer. Brush both sides of shrimp with basting oil, then 1/4 cup BBQ sauce. Set aside.
     
  2. Coat cleaned grill grate lightly with vegetable oil. Place shrimp on grill. Adjust heat to MED. Sear shrimp 1-3 min until it has changed color one-quarter of way up from bottom. Turn over; baste (brush seared side) with BBQ sauce. Sear 1-3 min. Turn over shrimp; baste. Cook 1-3 min. Turn over again; baste. Cook until internal temp reaches 130 degrees (check by inserting thermometer halfway into thickest part of shrimp). Let rest 2 min.
