Roasted Maple Apples



Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  1. Heat butter in ovenproof sauté pan* over MEDIUM heat until melted. Add apples, cut side down; cook until golden on underside, 4-5 min. Turn apples over, drizzle maple syrup over top of apples. Add sage to pan; place on center rack of oven.
  2. Roast apple halves until tender and beginning to caramelize on surface, about 15 min. Use roasted apples and sage to garnish roasted turkey platter.
* May be transferred to 9 x 13-inch baking pan if you do not have an oven-proof sauté pan.
