Roasted Cranberry-Clove Champagne Cocktail


Simple Syrup

Baking sheet


  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Arrange cranberries on baking sheet in single layer; sprinkle with cloves. Roast 8 min. Set aside.
  2. Combine sugar and water in saucepan. Heat on MED-HIGH until sugar dissolves completely. Remove from heat. Add cranberry mixture; let steep at least 1 hour. Strain and pour into serving container. (Makes enough syrup for 6 drinks.)
  3. Pour 1 1/2 oz of syrup into each champagne flute; top with sparkling wine. Garnish with cranberries.
