  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Heat braising pan on MED-HIGH. Add oil; swirl to coat. Add garlic and potatoes; cook 3 min, turning occasionally, until lightly browned. Add carrots, celery, and onion, cook 3 min. Add brisket; cook, without turning, 5 min. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. Place skillet in oven. Bake 10 min until lightly browned.
