Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Toss yams, carrots, onions, turnips, parsnips and figs together in medium bowl.
     
  2. Transfer to large casserole dish. Add chicken broth.
     
  3. Cover and bake 50-60 min, until tender. Uncover, sprinkle with brown sugar and bake 30 min longer, until nicely glazed.
