  1. Cover seaweed with water; soak at least 30 min.
     
  2. Heat medium pot of water to boiling as seaweed soaks. Add carrots; blanch 3-4 min, or until desired tenderness; transfer to large bowl. Add green beans to blanching water; blanch 6-7 min until desired tenderness. Transfer to bowl with carrots.
     
  3. Heat sesame oil on MED-HIGH in large sauté pan. Add onion; cook, 4-5 min, until slightly wilted and browned. Add ginger slices; cook 2-3 min.
     
  4. Pour off seaweed soaking water; drain seaweed. Add seaweed to pan with onions and ginger. Cook, 2-3 min, until hot. Add carrots, green beans, and corn. Cook, 3-4 min, until heated through. Toss in salt, pepper, and Nama Shoyu or tamari.
     
  5. Serve immediately or cool 15 min to let flavors blend.
Chef Tips
  • If using fresh corn, blanch corn in step 2, before adding to recipe in step 5.
