Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Heat basting oil in braising pan on MED-HIGH. Add sausage; cook 3-4 min, until slightly browned. Add celery and onion; cook, stirring 5 min. Add oysters with juice; cook, stirring, 3 min. Add butter, stock, and Worcestershire sauce; bring to a simmer. Turn off heat.
     
  2. Combine croutons and apple; gradually add to mixture in braising pan, stirring gently. Season with salt and pepper.
     
  3. Bake on center rack of oven 30-35 min or until stuffing is nicely browned and cooked through.  
Chef Tips
  • Add 1 Tbsp Herbes de Provence (Grocery Dept), dried/fresh sage, or poultry seasoning before you bake it.
