  1. Preheat grill on HIGH. Coat cleaned grill grate lightly with vegetable oil. 
       
  2. Toss asparagus and basting oil in bowl; season with salt and pepper.
     
  3. Reduce heat to MED. Grill asparagus 3-5 min, turning frequently, until tender.

Finish with lemon zest and a few squeezes of lemon juice.
