  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Combine nuts and pumpkin seeds; arrange in single layer on baking sheet. Toast 5 min. Remove from oven; set aside to cool.
     
  2. Make vinaigrette: Add orange juice, vinegar, olive oil, sesame oil, shallot, ginger root, chives, salt, and pepper to blender; puree.
     
  3. Toss kale, cranberries, nut-seed mixture, ginger, and vinaigrette in large mixing bowl.
