  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Add asparagus to pot of boiling, salted water; blanch 2-3 min. Drain. Add to bowl of ice water; drain and set aside.
  2. Place asparagus in shallow-sided casserole dish, in single layer. Mix cheese and bread crumbs; sprinkle evenly over asparagus. Drizzle oil evenly over cheese mixture.
  3. Bake on center rack of oven, 8-10 min or until heated through.

Broil 3-4 min or until golden brown to add a nice finishing touch.
