  1. Combine 1 1/2 cups sugar and 1/4 cup water in medium saucepan on MED-HIGH. Moisten side of pan with water-soaked pastry brush (prevents crystals from forming). Stir just until mixture boils. Continue moistening sides with pastry brush until sauce is medium brown, about 15 min.
  2. Add 1/2 stick of the butter carefully to avoid spattering. Stir; adding in orange juice carefully. Stir; add remaining butter. Stir in 1/8 tsp cinnamon and 1/4 tsp vanilla; let cool.
