  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Toss pears and olive oil gently in large bowl; season with salt and pepper. Arrange in single layer on parchment paper-lined baking sheet. 
     
  2. Roast about 40 min, until golden brown and caramelized on bottom. Remove from oven; cool completely.
     
  3. Combine salad greens, pomegranate arils, cashews and goat cheese (if desired). Toss with 1/4 cup vinaigrette. Mound on serving platter or individual plates.
     
  4. Toss pears with remaining vinaigrette; arrange on salad.
