  1. Combine berries, 1/2 cup sugar, and bourbon in bowl. Stir to mix well. Refrigerate 24 hours.
     
  2. Day you're serving: Combine 2 Tbsp sugar, vanilla extract, and heavy cream in bowl. Whisk until soft peaks form, 3-4 min to make fresh whipped cream.
     
  3. Spoon ice cream into individual bowls; top with berries and whipped cream.
