  1. Make wasabi ponzu sauce: Add ponzu sauce, salt, and wasabi to small bowl; whisk until well combined. Add lime juice; whisk to combine. Chill until ready to use. 
     
  2. Cut tuna tataki in half lengthwise then crosswise. Cut each quarter in 3 pieces.
     
  3. Arrange cucumber slices on serving platter. Top each with 1 piece tuna; season lightly with salt. Top with cucumber strips, green onion, and chili pepper. Drizzle with wasabi ponzu sauce; garnish with sesame seeds.
     
Chef Tips
  • Be sure to use a sharp knife while cutting tataki blocks. If preferred, our sushi chefs will gladly cut block for you.
  • Try topping with Truffle Ponzu Dressing (see related recipe) in place of Wasabi Ponzu Sauce.
