Maitake Mushroom Crostini with Hummus

Ingredients

  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Make crostini: Place baguette slices on baking sheet; drizzle with basting oil. Bake about 4 min on center rack of oven until golden brown. Remove from oven.
     
  2. Heat olive oil in ovenproof skillet on HIGH until it faintly smokes. Add garlic; cook 30 seconds until lightly browned. Add mushrooms; cook, stirring, 2 min. Stir in white wine. Place pan in oven about 5 min.
     
  3. Mound warm mushroom mixture in center of serving dish; sprinkle with chives. Surround mushrooms with crostini slices. Place hummus in small bowl. To serve: Spread hummus on crostini; top with mushroom mixture.
