Cherry-Almond Pull-Apart Bread

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Coat fluted tube pan with oil. Combine cinnamon and sugar in bowl; sprinkle pan with 1 Tbsp cinnamon-sugar mixture. Set side.
     
  2. Cut pizza dough into quarters; lightly dust each quarter with flour. Roll, one quarter at a time, into 12-inch long "ropes." Cut each "rope" into 10-12 pieces. Roll each piece into a dough ball; toss dough balls in batches with cinnamon-sugar mixture until well coated.
     
  3. Combine frozen cherries, trail mix, and chocolate chips in bowl. Sprinkle 1/4 cup cherry mixture into pan; top evenly with layer of coated dough balls. Repeat process until all dough and cherry mixture is used. Sprinkle any remaining cinnamon-sugar mixture over top. Set pan in center of baking sheet; bake 55-60 min until lightly golden brown and firm to touch. Cool 15 min; invert onto serving platter.
