We are a family company, and we have never felt more like a family as we come together during this trying time. We hope it’s the same for all of you. On a daily basis, we are so moved to hear the stories of kindness and connection happening in our stores.

Our people and our customers continue to be nothing short of amazing.

We thank our people who continue to show up every day with a positive attitude, ready to deliver incredible service, equipped with the most up-to-date trusted science to protect themselves and our customers. Our customers support us every day, taking time to recognize our people and encouraging us to keep going, which truly makes a HUGE difference.

We understand this is a trying time for everyone. We are extremely grateful for the way people—our suppliers, employees, customers and community partners—are pulling together to help.

All along, we have followed the guidance of the CDC for the latest trusted advice. Most recently, they are advising that the application of masks may prevent the spread of the virus. We are fortunate to have secured enough masks, arriving at stores in the next few days, to make it possible for our people to adhere to this advice. As we continue to follow the highest standards for social distancing, sanitation, and Plexiglas® shields at checkout, we are confident in the measures we’ve taken to keep our stores safe and positive places to be during this time. We thank you for your support as we continue to learn and ensure progress is made daily.

Store Hours

 

We are temporarily changing our hours of operation to better serve our customers and communities.

Our Woodmore, MD store is open 6 am – 10 pm.

Our Brooklyn, NY store is open 7 am – 7 pm.

Our Erie, PA & Erie West, PA stores are open 7 am – 10 pm.

All stores in Pennsylvania (excluding Erie, PA & Erie West, PA), Virginia and North Carolina are open 6 am – Midnight.

All stores in Maryland (excluding Woodmore, MD) are open 6 am – 11 pm.

All stores in New York (excluding Brooklyn, NY) and New Jersey are open from 7 am – 10 pm.

All stores in Massachusetts are open from 7 am – 9 pm.

To comply with MA state mandate, we are setting aside the hours of 7 – 8 am daily for those ages 60+ to shop in our stores. Please note, our pharmacies in MA are open 8:30 am – 6 pm on Saturdays and 8:30 am – 4 pm on Sundays.

New Jersey Pharmacy Hours: Monday through Friday 7 am 7 pm; Saturday 7 am – 5 pm; Sunday 7 am – 3 pm.

Pennsylvania Pharmacy Hours: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday: 8:30 am – 9 pm; Tuesdays 7 am – 9 pm; Saturday: 8:30 am – 6 pm; Sunday: 9 am – 4 pm.

To comply with state and local mandates, customers in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, and Massachusetts must wear a cloth face covering, such as a fabric mask, scarf or bandana, over their mouth and nose while shopping.

Online Grocery Delivery & Curbside Pickup: Due to high demand, Grocery Delivery & Curbside Pickup times are extremely limited. We encourage you to keep checking the available windows, as they do open up. For Curbside Pickup orders, please wait for a notification that your order is ready before arriving at the store, as we are experiencing some delays due to volume. We are also experiencing a higher number of out-of-stock items and apologize for any inconvenience. To take advantage of Instacart’s “Leave at my Door” service, simply check the “Leave order at my door” selection during checkout. Please note – “Leave at My Door” is not available for alcohol deliveries in Massachusetts & Virginia where alcohol deliveries are permitted.

Wegmans Meals 2GO: We’re offering meals through our Wegmans Meals 2GO app at select stores. You can request No-Contact Delivery by DoorDash under the Delivery Instructions when you place your order in the app. Simply indicate you want your order left at the door and text your driver to confirm when your order is on its way.

Product Assortment, Return Policy & Limits

Product Assortment: During your weekly shopping trip, you may notice a reduced assortment across several departments in our stores and online. Temporarily suspending certain departments and streamlining our offerings will allow our employees to work safely and more efficiently, as we aim to serve as many customers as possible in these uncertain times. Our Delis, Bakery, Restaurant Foods and Floral will all be especially impacted by these changes. Thank you for your patience as we continue to navigate through this, and we look forward to returning to our full breadth of products soon.

Return Policy: Wegmans will not accept any returns of groceries, over-the-counter medications or other products purchased during, and for 30 days following the conclusion of the national state of emergency declared on March 1, 2020 in response to COVID-19; limited exceptions may apply. Thank you for understanding.

Limits: To help ensure we can serve the immediate needs of our customers, and minimize out-of-stock items, we currently have purchase limits on certain products.

Pharmacy Curbside Pickup

We know you share our commitment to preventing the spread of the virus. If you have tested positive for COVID-19 or you believe you have COVID-19 based on a physician diagnosis, we ask that you allow us to help get your prescriptions to you safely using our Pharmacy Curbside Pickup service. This service is available as a courtesy to any customer who would prefer to avoid entering our stores at this time.

Please follow the process outlined below:

If a family member or caregiver is not available to pick up your prescription and you have tested positive for COVID-19 or you believe you have COVID-19 based on a physician diagnosis, please contact your local health department for guidance on how to obtain your medication.

  1. Confirm that your prescription is ready by receipt of a text or phone notification or by calling us
  2. Locate the Pharmacy Pickup area in our parking lot and call the phone number on the sign in your parking spot to alert us of your arrival
  3. Provide a credit card number over the phone to process your payment
  4. We will happily deliver your prescription to your vehicle
  5. For everyone’s safety, we ask that driver and passengers remain in the vehicle with windows up and doors shut until the prescription delivery is complete

This curbside service will be available from 9am-7pm Monday – Friday and during normal weekend business hours.

Social Distancing to Keep You Safe

Evolving with the Science

We encourage our employees and customers to take additional steps to protect themselves and those around them. Here’s how.

Wellness Checks – We are now requiring employees to go through a wellness check before the start of each shift. Anyone exhibiting symptoms will be asked to go home (with pay) and contact a medical provider.

Social Distancing – We ask that you stay “a cart apart,” roughly six feet from other shoppers and employees.

Shopping Trips – Please shop with as few people as possible and make larger, less frequent trips to reduce your exposure and keep our employees safe.

Reusable Bags – We recommend you clean your reusable bags to protect yourself and others. After each use, wipe your reusable bag down with warm, soapy water and let it air dry or use a disinfecting wipe. If you have a canvas bag, please wash it between uses.

For food safety and sanitation reasons, we may not be able to load a bag that poses a risk to you, our cashiers or other customers.

Reusable Coffee Cups – We’re limiting the use of reusable cups to the self-serve coffee bar, only. We are not able to honor requests to handle, rinse, or clean any reusable or personal cups or containers.
