Hi folks, I’m Kevin Russell, the store manager of our first store in New England, in Northborough, MA. We’re so proud to introduce Wegmans to the area and can hardly wait for the doors to open.

Our amazing employees have been working for months toward one goal: to dazzle customers with incredible service, selection, help with meals, and low prices, from day one and every day thereafter. We aim to give our new customers a shopping experience they’ll love…a real feast for the senses. Think of it as being an adventure. It’s a lot to take in all at once, but our people are trained to help each step of the way, from finding exactly want you want, to answering questions like ‘tell me an easy way to prepare tilapia that my family will love’.

Opening a new store is a little like taking care of a garden. It’s a lot of work to water and care for the plants as they grow. But when the flowers open, there’s never any doubt that it was all worthwhile.

Three years ago, I was asked to move from Buffalo, NY to open a new store in Prince George’s County, Maryland.

My husband and I decided that this move would be a wonderful opportunity to create new memories and traditions for our family, since our extended support network would become much smaller as we left friends, family, and loved ones in Upstate NY.

Regardless of our new “home” and the recognizably smaller number of people at the Sunday dinner table, we still relied on food and family to keep us close throughout this major transition.
