You need to know which ingredients are safe and determine if the item was produced in a facility where it could come in contact with gluten. That takes time. Second (and maybe this will be first for some) gluten-free products don’t always have the same taste or texture as the regular kind and they tend to cost more.

As the New Year starts many of us make resolutions to get fit, eat healthier, and maybe even shed a few pounds.
